Since 2000, the state legislature designated the Town of Lecompte as the pie capital of the state of Louisiana under then Mayor Rosa Jones' administration in recognition of the pies produced in the thousands since 1928 at the landmark Lea's Lunchroom.

       
 

The parade's route begins at Carter C. Raymond School, travels south on St. Charles to Highway 112, turns left on Hardy Street, then left on Sugar Street, then left and back to Carter C. Raymond School.


Get your fill of the delicious foods; Enjoy the arts and crafts at your fingertips such as pottery, wood, fabrics, jewelry, paintings, basketry, soaps, candles and preserves. Kids the many carnival rides available, including the giant Ferris Wheel.

Mayor Robert Baxter would like to welcome you to the the town of Lecompte and Home of the Lecompte Pie Festival. The festival will take place in April 21-23, 2017. The festival will offer lots of food vendors, a parade, carnival rides and of course pies, pies and more pies.
